• Did a reflection for bonus points. Did you do a good job? Very Few...people got full marks for it.
• Watched a movie. How does it relate to topics we did this year?
• Did you try more questions for review bingo?
• Did our diet coke & mentos competition. You know, more of you could have been prepared.
• It was our last class.
• 9:30am IN ROOM 253!!!!

• Handed in all of our vocabulary.
• Got review handouts for matter and chemical change. How did you do?
• Got a review summary for the whole year.
• I have a review handout for environmental chemistry should you so desire.
• Talked about our diet coke and mentos contest. Next Tuesday, bring your supplies and we'll see what you can make it do!
• Watched a couple of YouTube videos about mentos and diet coke. If you can make your experiment do that, I will be truly dazzled and impressed!

• Did a powerpoint of Genetics, do you get it? Why is it important?
• Did you write notes on your handout?
• You have review questions to answer, sia9 p83-84 #2-33. Did you write down the questions?
• Is your vocabulary done? It will be your most valuable tool when studying for your final exam.

• No progress reports will go home this term. Think you're missing something? You'd better check!

• Did Current Events. Only 4 classes left people.
• Worked on the vocabulary we got last day. It is all due on Monday June 8, 2009.
• Talked about ASEXUAL & SEXUAL REPRODUCTION. Do you understand the difference?
• Talked about Chromosomes, DNA, Genes, & Alleles, oh my! What are they?
• What is the difference between MITOSIS & MEIOSIS?
• How many chromosomes does a human usually have?
• DO: sia9 p25 #1-7, p37 #1-8, p55 #1-9, p78 #1-4. DUE MONDAY.
• You have had time to work on these things. You should be almost done.
• NOTE: You will be handing in your textbooks on MONDAY June 8th. You should use them as much as you can or want. It will be your last chance.
• Remember: The science textbook is online, but it is a pain to access....make your choice.

Today in SCIENCE we:

• Did Current Events. There was a LIST on the board today, how many Current Events do you have left to do?
• Got vocabulary #51. Your LAST one. You had most of the class to work on it today, how far did you get? Did you follow the instructions? It is due on MONDAY June 8, 2009.
• Talked about & looked at a Galilleo Thermometer. How does it work? Use your basic knowlegde of Chemistry. Wrote & HANDED IN a journal entry about it.
• Our last unit contains a lot of review from other units, & the two field trips we went on this year.
• Reminder: Textbooks will be handed in next week, get whatever information you want out of them NOW.
• Reminder: Use exam bank to help you study.

• Finished watching Apollo 13. Why did we watch this movie? There were lots of concepts in this movie that we have worked with over the year, can you think of at least 5?
• Make sure you complete your vocabulary & get it into your duotang.

• Started to watch the movie Apollo 13 - there is alot of review material in this movie for your Electricity, Space, and Environmental Chemistry Units.
• Handed in our Biological Diversity title pages.
• Are you up to date? Now would be the time to get yourself up to date.

Today in SCIENCE we:

• Did Current Events. The clock is ticking people. Have you done two THIS term?
• Reviewed our field trip. Looked at pictures from our field trip. We did, saw, and learned so much!
• Wrote a journal entry about our field trip. Even though it was snowing, wasn't it better than having lunch in the hub?
• Did a Space Quiz on Section 4.0.
• Wrote "what we learned in space", stapled that to our "what we know about space" and "what we wonder about space" sheets and put the whole thing in our journals.
• Biological Diversity Title page: Due Wednesday. The usual format is expected.
• Started watching Apollo 13 - it is a true story people.
