Today in SCIENCE we:
  • Did Current Events. I listed the names of people who still owe one or more current event. Please make sure you are up to date.
  • Did not do vocabulary, used that time to sort, finish, & submit our vocabulary duotangs.
  • Is your journal duotang up to date & handed in?
  • Reviewed our resistance worksheet & handed it in.
  • Handed in our circuit diagrams.
  • Reviewed our QUIZ, overall I was quite pleased with your marks, keep up the great work.
  • Looked at some examples of FUSES. How do they work?
  • Did & HANDED IN skill practice sia9 p307 #1-3.
  • HOMEWORK: sia9 p316 #1-9. You have done the reading, now see if you understood it. DUE MONDAY.

Today in SCIENCE we:
  • Did Current Events. Progress reports go out next week. They will be finalized by FRIDAY. Will you be proud of yours?
  • Did vocabulary #35. Please make sure your completed vocabulary duotang is handed in by THURSDAY MARCH 12, 2009.
  • Talked about a couple of test taking strategies.
  • Wrote a quiz. How did you do? Wrote a journal entry about our quiz & put it in our journal duotang.
  • Handed in sia9 p310 #1-10.
  • Put our "Day After Tomorrow" journal entries in our journals.
  • Read & UNDERSTAND sia9 p311-315.
  • HOMEWORK: Based on what you have read, draw a proper circuit diagram.
  • Reveiwed Resistance, complete the reistance worksheet, don't forget UNITS & COMPLETE SENTENCES! They are word problems afterall, & our units are not chickens!

Today in SCIENCE we:
  • Did Current Events. Is it your turn next week? Be ready, before you know it the term will be over and you can kiss those free marks good-bye.
  • Did NOT do vocabulary. I suggest you take this opportunity to get caught up and make sure it is submitted.
  • Watched the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" . Your assignment is to write at least 2 paragraphs for your journal describing and explaining at least 2 situations that had to do with electricity in the movie. Please put this in your journals next class.
  • READ & UNDERSTAND sia9 p304-310, do sia9 p310 #1-10.
  • When oh when will the quiz be?
